Oh hey! Today I am sharing some of my photos from Nidri, the town we stayed in we we visited Lefkas Island in Greece. Nidri is definitely one of those places that at first sight is not very pretty to look at, half finished buildings, but once settling in, you most definitely fall in love with it’s unique charm.
Will and I appear to be creatures of habit as every morning we would wake up early, pop to the bakery (which I never saw closed) & pick up some pastries (cold pizza for Will), ate them on our balcony, then head to the beach. We’d spend a few hours sun bathing, drinking freshly squeezed orange juice + frappes, then head in at midday when it was just that little bit too hot!
We would head down this street in the afternoon, look round the many souvenir shops full of Glass Evil Eyes, olive wood bowls… and a lot of soap! We always ate at Cafe De Paris, because once I’ve found somewhere I like that doesn’t set my food intolerances off I tend to stick with it. Plus it was so good and they have such a varied menu of food + drinks! I’d however, always get for dinner a cheese + tomato toastie, with fries, and an iced tea or frappe!
